Meal Plans Week of 10-24-10

Made it through yet another long, rough week.  I feel like I'm in the home stretch of being sick.  But at the same time it feels like there is no end in sight.  The last few days have been pretty bad.  I even puked for the first time yesterday.  I guess I'm not quite out of the woods yet.  Praying that it's soon, though.  Very soon.

This week isn't quite as busy as last week, but still plenty going on.  I hope I feel good enough to keep up.  Today is church.  Still TBD if I'll make it or not.  Monday is grocery day.  Tuesday Justin has class.  Wednesday is Kindermusik.  Thursday I have my first OB check up.  So anxious for that.  Praying that all is still going well.  Friday morning there is a MOPS playdate, but I don't think we'll be going.  In the afternoon Rebecca and I will (hopefully) be heading to Justin's work for a Halloween party.  Saturday evening we'll be handing out candy at home.

Still just trying to keep up with the basics at home.  The bathrooms all got cleaned, and the laundry all got done last week.  So that's good.  And there was food on the table every night :P  I did manage to finally make an apple pie.  And I even made french toast one morning for breakfast (not for me).  Not much extra planned this week either.  If I'm up for it I'd like to do something with my sourdough.  So far I've managed to keep my starter going.  Can't say the same for my kefir.  I haven't touched my grains in weeks.  I'm guessing they're dead by now.  But maybe I can try them out this week.  My stock of baked goods/easy breakfasts in the freezer is really dwindling.  I hope I can start baking more again soon.

That's about it.  Just trying to get through one day at a time and take it easy.  Praying things start improving soon.  Here's what's on the menu...for now.

  1. Hope you feel some improvement this week! Looks like lots of yummy meals! Interesting that you guys trick-or-treat on Saturday in your neighborhood. Ours is always on Halloween. It'd be kind of nice if it was Saturday so we weren't up late on Sunday night, though.
