Almost the end of November. And happy to be feeling pretty much back to "normal" now. I had forgotten what it was like to not feel nauseous every day :P Glad to be eating good food again and not craving junk. All just in time for the holidays.
Last week not much went on at home. Mostly just packing, traveling and unpacking. I did use up the last of our sweet potatoes. And we went shopping for tile for our basement bathroom. Plus I squeezed in a little more time for sewing. Just about done with my 2nd bag.
This week it's time to get down to business, get things done and go shopping! I have barely started Christmas shopping. And I only have a few weeks left. So it's time to get moving now that I have Christmas lists from most family members :)
Today is church, and I am helping in Little Lambs. Monday we have to make a stop at the pediatrician again to test another urine sample and see if Rebecca's UTI is gone. We also have to grocery shop. Tuesday is milk pick up. I might call this week to see if we can get another share. We just LOVE our raw milk so much. While we were traveling Rebecca didn't drink much milk. Usually only about 1 cup a day. But yesterday when she had as much raw milk as she wanted she drank 4 full cups! Makes me happy to give her so much good stuff :) I might also go Christmas shopping or go to Harvest Health on Tuesday. And Justin has class. Wednesday is Kindermusik, and I have an OB appt. So excited to finally have another check up. It's been 5 long weeks! Anxious to hear the heartbeat again. Thursday will be Harvest Health or Christmas shopping. Depends what I end up doing on Tuesday. Justin has a meeting at church in the evening. Friday is MOPS. Saturday there are no definite plans. We might shop for furniture for Rebecca's room. Or maybe I'll try to go out alone and do some Christmas shopping for Rebecca since Justin can be home to watch her.
Not a ton of extras in the kitchen. I'm making and freezing tomato soup today. And making a new batch of tortillas. I'd like to try making homemade mouthwash. Assuming I get to HH I want to stock up on nuts and make more crispy nuts. Now that Rebecca eats them (she LOVES crispy pecans) and I mix them into my yogurt almost daily we're going through our stock pretty quickly. We have a fair amount of squash in the basement, so I'm hoping to bake and freeze some of that. And I'd like to try making either custard or pudding with our raw milk/cream.
Aside from food I'll keep working on my sewing project. And we need to put up the rest of our Christmas deco. Justin put up the lights yesterday. We'll be getting our tree next weekend, so tree decorating is a couple weeks away yet.
I guess that's it for now. Mostly just trying to get going on Christmas stuff and keep up with the day-to-day stuff. Here's what's on the menu...even breakfast! :)
