Cooking Light Review

I had been planning to do a Cooking Light review for quite some time.  I had a subscription last year.  And every time I read the magazine I found something that bothered me in their health advice.  But my life is a bit crazy right now with baby prep and focusing on other things.  And this just doesn't really matter much.  It's called Cooking Light...so I don't expect them to promote full fat/healthy food.  I guess all I'll say is that I don't recommend this magazine to anyone.  They promote the use of microwaves, use canola oil in just about every recipe and recommend using low fat/fat free just about all the time (especially dairy products).  Seems  like the opposite of healthy to me.  I have recycled all of my issues.  I think I made about 1 recipe from the magazine in the year I got it.  Too many ingredients in each recipe and too many substitutions I'd have to make.  No thanks.

Just wanted to clarify that I did ask for the subscription.  That was before I found NT.  So it was a very thoughtful gift.  Just bad timing on my part.
