The start of another hot month. July will be plenty busy I'm sure with swimming, dance, holidays, vacation (Chicago!!), etc. No major new goals this month. I'm still working on finding balance. And of course we're trying to enjoy the summer and get out as much as we can. As of today I am a regular contributor at Real Food and Health Magazine...and have my first article published!!! Very exciting. I am also a regular contributor for Grand Rapids Natural Living. In the next couple weeks I'll get training on how to post to the blog myself, and I am an administrator to the facebook page as well. Lots of exciting new things.
FOOD
1. Balance - I will continue to work on balance. I will focus my attention on things other than food. I will not obsess over eating the "right" or "wrong" food. I will not binge on food. I will eat normally, feel satisfied and learn what hungry and full really feel like.
2. Rebecca's Recipes - continue to let Rebecca plan one meal a week.
3.
Sourdough - I need to find some new sourdough recipes to try.
4. Food preservation - blueberries, beans, zucchini, TBD
5. Eat in season -
fresh produce means basing meals on what's in season.
6. Eat for nutrition - I will be focusing on foods that are rich in minerals.
HEALTH
1. Continue to push myself
out of my comfort zone/defeat OCD - friends, outings, playdates. This will also
include family outings.
2. Supplements - I will continue to
take cod liver oil and vitamins. I will research magnesium and potassium supplements. I might do an update post on this at some point.
