Last week sure was busy, but fun! I met a lot of new people (and so did Rebecca!). It was great to get out so much. We had a somewhat spontaneous visit from my parents yesterdat (they called Friday night)...and even went out to eat with them (decided while they were here/right at dinner time). And it didn't stress me out at all. We had about 2 min. to pack up a few things for Rebecca and head to the restaurant. And we had a great time! That's a nice change for me. This week will also be busy. But all of our plans could change depending on how Rebecca feels. She was up all night last night with a tummy ache and runny nose. Today she is pretty stuffy. We're hoping it's just from the teething. But if it's a cold we'll be staying home most of the week. Assuming she's ok, I will be going to a nursery cmt meeting on Monday. Justin found out he has to do class stuff that night, so Rebecca will have to come with me. Wed. we have our 2nd Kindermusik class. In the afternoon I have a dentist appt. I actually kind of look forward to that because I get to chat with our (now former....they moved yesterday) neighbor. Thursday I would like our girls' day outing to be a visit to my grandparents...if my grandma is feeling up for it. Then Saturday we're spending the day with my family. So we've got plenty of social stuff planned.
I am making a cake for my family get-together on Saturday. That will be my creative project for the week. I'm trying some new techniques again. Hopefully it turns out well.
I had an appt. with my psychologist last Thurs. She was very impressed with the progress I've made. I am going to continue to work on my day-to-day anxieties/OCD. I go back in a month.
This could be a very busy, fun week. And it could be an exhausting, long week (I'm starting out with only about 3 hours of sleep...and I don't foresee a full night's sleep for a few days at least). But I'm just taking it one day at a time. I'll do what I can and not worry about the rest.
