A new week and a new month tomorrow. This week is going to be very busy. I have to have things planned well in order to get everything done. Hopefully we won't have any surprise illness this week :P The first half of Feb. will be quite busy. I actually planned out my meals from about Jan. 24 - Feb. 20 over a week ago! Crazy, I know, but I had to do some serious planning ahead. This week I have an appt. with my psychologist, I have to go grocery shopping, I have Kindermusik, I might have a playdate, I have MOPS and we have a family party (for my Dad's birthday) that I am hosting. There is something pretty much every day. And inbetween all of that stuff I have to make a cake for the birthday party, clean the house, prep food, etc. So my theme for meals this week is easy :) No time for any extras aside from the cake (making frosting and icing and decorating it). Here's what's on the menu:
S - (church, nursery) - homemade coffe cake and mixed fruit (breakfast), crockpot honey and orange chicken over soba noodles (lunch), leftover pasta fagioli and cheesy garlic bread (dinner)
M - (Dr. appt., meatless) - apple, organic yogurt and homemade granola (breakfast), crustless quiche w/ broccoli, spinach, corn, onion and zucchini, home canned peaches, mini pumpkin scones
T - (Meijer) - leftover quiche (breakfast), pb banana stuffed french toast, fresh pineapple, bacon
W - (KM, clean, cake, WT, early) - turkey burgers, baked beans, chips, home canned peaches
Th - (class, cake, clean, meatless) - leftovers
F - (boil eggs, MOPS, cake, clean/set up, meatless) - pineapple, organic yogurt, homemade granola (breakfast), egg salad sandwiches, beans, chips, home canned applesauce
S - (prep food, basketball game, party) - family party: taco/nacho bar - taco meat, chips, taco shells, cheese, sour cream, salsa, beans, avocado, peppers, onions, fruit, cake, ice cream
This is for my sake, so feel free to ignore it :) I just have to have this written out or else I won't remember to get everything done on time.
