End of Month Recap - November

November felt like a whirlwind.  I seriously can't believe tomorrow is December.  Even though the month flew by I did ok on my goals.  I did use a lot of fall flavors in my cooking.  And I made a lot of things with pumpkin...and enjoyed all of it :)  I guess I can't say I don't like pumpkin anymore.  I still don't like pumpkin pie, but I do like pumpkin.  I still have a ways to go to get through my apples, but I'll get there.  We did have some variety in our breakfast...mostly just the pumpkin baked goods I made :)

Rebecca and I spent lots of time together in the kitchen.  She is becoming quite the baker.  We also did a few projects.  We visited friends and had friends over.  We're getting to know our neighbor better.  Rebecca got to play with the neighbor a bit...and she talks about it all the time.  Eva has lots of fun toys :)  Justin and I also went out for a date night.

I'm still working at being more patient.  I think that's something just about everyone can always work on.  I did try to focus on positive things.  But it's tough.  And most of the time I forgot.  But I'll keep trying.

Overall it was a good month.  It just went by way too quickly.  But on to December I guess.

  1. It did feel like a whirlwind, didn't it? Crazy. Glad to hear you're getting to know your neighbor better - that will be so nice for Rebecca to have a playmate right next door. I agree that every one of us could be more patient. It seems to be a function of the world we live in today, though. Which is a sad reality.
