Since we'll be gone over the weekend I'm doing my meal plans a bit early. I have a busy week ahead of me. And it will be December in a few days! That's just crazy. There is a lot to do between now and Christmas. I'm hoping to get a lot done this week. I have the usual grocery shopping. Plus Kindermusik, a Discovery Toy party, MOPS and a Christmas party for BLAST (jr. high youth group). I'll be eating at the party on Sat., so Justin and Rebecca will have leftovers at home.
I'm not 100% sure what my extras will be this week. I know I'll be doing more applesauce. But in addition to that I'd like to make another batch of granola, some kind of dessert for us and a dessert for the BLAST party. I need to start putting up Christmas decorations. And of course the usual stuff around the house like cleaning, ironing, etc. I hope I can squeeze it all in.
Here's what's on the menu.
S - (church, out to eat for lunch) - grilled cheese and soup or salad (dinner)
M - (meatless) - spinach, broccoli and onion quiche, corn
T - (Meijer) - sweet pea risotto gratin
W - (KM, meatless) - leftover quiche, roasted veggies
Th - (toy party) - leftovers
F - (MOPS, clean) - meatloaf, beans, fried potatoes
S - (clean, laundry, BLAST party) -leftover meatloaf
Sounds like a busy, but super fun week!! Mmm... the sweet pea risotto gratin sounds so good... I actually debated about making that this week, too!
