Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

I did end up making a batch of homemade mayo yesterday.  I forgot how easy that is.  I used it to make some egg salad.  And I also used it to make honey mustard dressing.  I've had this recipe for years, but haven't made it recently.  Now I have 2 of my favorite salad dressings on hand...and both homemade.  I'm excited that now I can make all 3 of my favorites (french, honey mustard, thousand island).  So easy and so much healthier.  Bring on the salad!
I had a hard time taking a picture of the dressing in the container.  But at least I got a picture of it on my salad.  This recipe makes a small batch.  You can double or triple the recipe if you're making it for a group/family.
Honey Mustard Dressing

1/4 cup mayo (preferably homemade)
1 - 2 Tbsp. raw honey
1 Tbsp. mustard

Mix all of the ingredients in a small mason jar.  Mix.  Refrigerate.

  1. Mmmm... I love honey mustard dressing! It is my #2 choice after ranch. I will definitely have to make this.

I need to make some more mayo. I made some a couple weeks ago, but it didn't turn out. Not sure what I did differently than I have in the past. I was pretty bummed, though. But I haven't had the time to make another batch since... and didn't want to make it before our trip, anyway.

  3. I never did make this version of honey mustard dressing. It was really good on Sunday! I'm going to make it very soon... I liked it better than the way I've made it in the past. Yum!
